Do you need to be a registered SIA operator to do this course?

If you are attending one of our independently booked freelance courses, you would need a current SIA card in order to conduct the live mentored deployment in a public area. If you are part of an in-house team, there is no requirement. 

Are there any pre-requisite skills or experience needed to attend? 

This course is suitable for all levels of operatives however, it is essential for students to possess a good level of written and spoken english in order to conduct all aspects of the role.

Is this a pass or fail course?

Yes, you are mentored and assessed throughout the course and required to reach a level of competency for the role of BDO. Should you fail to meet the required level, we would support your ongoing development and seek to place you on a later course and/or assessment. Please email us if you require further information.
